A Message of Thanks

SideLyer Company extends heartfelt thanks to all the providers, caregivers, and advocates who visited our booth and participated in the giveaway during the PAR Solutions Conference.

About the PAR Solutions Conference

The PAR Solutions Conference, hosted by Pennsylvania Advocates and Resources (PAR), is one of the state’s premier gatherings of professionals and organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disability and autism (ID/A).

Each year, the conference brings together service providers, policymakers, and innovators to explore solutions that advance inclusion, independence, and quality of life for individuals with disabilities across Pennsylvania.

The event in Harrisburg fosters collaboration and highlights new technologies, best practices, and advocacy strategies that strengthen community-based care.

About Brian’s House

Brian’s House was founded in 1976 by Dave Tuttle to provide essential residential and vocational services for people with disabilities, including his son Brian.

What began as a renovated historic home in West Chester serving 14 children with profound developmental disabilities has grown into a network of more than 75 community homes and apartments across Bucks, Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery Counties.

Now operating as part of the Woods Community at Brian’s House, the organization provides residential supports, vocational programs, day services, and community integration for over 200 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Guided by a person-centered philosophy, Brian’s House promotes self-determination, inclusion, and dignity in every aspect of life — from work and recreation to healthcare and personal growth.

About SideLyer Company

Based in Orlando, Florida, SideLyer Company designs and manufactures the SideLyer™ Motorized Repositioning System, an FDA-registered assistive device engineered to prevent pressure injuries (bedsores) and reduce caregiver injuries during patient turning and repositioning.

Developed by and for intermediate caregivers, the SideLyer system uses a remote-controlled tilt and lift mechanism to achieve safe, consistent, and effortless repositioning. This promotes comfort and inclusion for residents, improves staff safety, and enhances quality of care.

As documented in SideLyer’s 2025 White Paper, repositioning systems like SideLyer have been shown to significantly reduce the incidence of pressure injuries and musculoskeletal injuries among staff — leading to better outcomes for both caregivers and residents.
