The Illinois Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association (IL DDNA) Annual Educational Conference brings together nurses and healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Illinois. The event provides continuing education, best practice sharing, and networking opportunities designed to strengthen clinical skills, promote advocacy, and enhance quality of care within the ID/DD community.
SideLyer plans to engage with Illinois nursing leaders who are addressing complex clinical needs, chronic health conditions, and long-term support challenges within ID/DD settings. As nurses focus on preventive care strategies, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination, safe positioning and skin protection remain critical components of quality outcomes. SideLyer’s solutions contribute to these efforts by supporting comfort, reducing pressure-related risks, and helping care teams maintain safer, more responsive environments for individuals with complex needs.
